ロシアの旅客機 シナイ半島で墜落

エジプト東部を出発してロシアへ向かう途中で連絡が取れなくなっていた旅客機について、エジプトの首相府は３１日、エジプト東部のシナイ半島に墜落したことが確認されたと発表しました。ロシアの通信社によりますと、旅客機はロシアの航空会社「コガリムアビア」のエアバス３２１型機で、乗客乗員合わせて２００人以上が乗っていたということです。

Russian Passenger Plane Crashes Over Egypt

A Russian passenger plane carrying 224 people has crashed over central Sinai, Egypt's Prime Minister's office has confirmed.

The plane was travelling from the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh to the Russia city of St Petersburg and lost contact with air traffic controllers shortly after take off.

The aircraft was a Airbus A321 operated by the Russian airline Kogalymavia, according to the RIA news agency.

A statement from the prime minister's office said a cabinet level crisis committee would meet to deal with the crash.
